Oiwa Shrine

Oiwa Shrine × Insho Domoto, Fushimi, Kyoto

“Oiwa Shrine” has been revered since ancient times as a deity for intractable diseases, and is believed to have divine efficacy for mental illness (literally:diseases of the mind/heart).

Two stone torii gates designed by the modern Japanese-style painter Insho Domoto were dedicated in gratitude after his mother’s illness was cured.

Therefore, it is a shrine that makes you feel even more mysterious.
